APPS TEAM
Kevin and Chris visited CB West to set up a new scanning kiosk in the Student Services Office for student check-ins and late arrivals. They also attended a demo of Messages XR, a potential replacement for Mass Notification. Michelle finalized details for ESSER 2023-24, formatted and uploaded February ACT scores to IC and Naviance, and started data collection for course instructors for the 2024-25 school year.
BCS TEAM
Harry collaborated with school techs to review inventory, arranged tech coverages, triaged a parent complaint, organized the summer helper job posting, guided shipping logistics for the teacher laptop lease refresh, and presented at the department meeting.
ED TECH TEAM
Lindsay visited Jamison Elementary, met with intern Luke Drake, and discussed course information organization with Ang, Lori, Michele, and Colleen. She also had a call with MVP about the full-time cyber program and attended the elementary principals meeting. Carina worked with 6th graders at Doyle, presented an AI tip at the Elementary Principal's Meeting, and supported a livestream call for Spanish 4 Honors. She also gathered information about Pear Deck and shared an AI scholarship opportunity. Pags developed Copilot agents, met with district leadership about CB Cyber, and discussed Xello with the Reading School District. He also attended a Microsoft Copilot training and assisted on a Q&A call for Infinite Campus.
HELP DESK
Ashley created new instructions for Frontline Professional Growth, answered help desk tickets, and updated the website with the applications team. Trevor processed a substantial number of terminations and revoked licenses. Chris installed a student scanner at CB West, participated in a Teams call with elementary school secretaries, and continued providing tech support. Kristie participated in meetings, assisted elementary secretaries with IC, set up accounts for new staff, and provided support through the help desk and Parent Portal emails.
NETWORK TEAM
Corey removed old cloud backups, added servers to Azure ARC, completed Active Directory cleanup, remediated sync server issues, built a Server 2025 base image, and troubleshot firewall issues. Ryan replaced Avigilon cameras, traded in retired hotspots and phones, organized communications inventory, delivered new radios, and audited ACM door numbering. Andrew attended a ClassLink webinar, collaborated on an Active Directory audit, resolved Azure password writeback issues, reviewed internship requirements, and participated in Microsoft Co-Pilot Training. Will completed the Warwick UPS replacement, resolved phone interruptions with Windstream, addressed UPS issues at Barclay, and researched EMF blockers. Mike deployed software applications, deleted stale device records, worked on a DLP policy, created test policies for Windows 11 deployment, cleaned up installers in Intune, audited Active Directory records, and presented at Kutz.
