In the days leading up to Thanksgiving, our Pre-K students took part in a fun classroom tradition: writing their own “How to Cook a Turkey” recipes. Each student explained, in their own words, the steps involved in preparing a Thanksgiving turkey -- from cooking times and temperatures to creative flavor ideas.

The project gave students a chance to practice speaking, sequencing, and early writing skills while sharing a lot of laughs along the way. Their imaginative instructions and unique cooking methods were shared for families and staff to enjoy.
