Sixth grade students put their culinary skills to work while creating their own açaí bowls in cooking class. The lesson gave students an opportunity to explore healthy ingredients while practicing important kitchen skills. From preparing ingredients to assembling their bowls, students took an active role in creating a nutritious and delicious snack. Cooking activities like this help students build confidence in the kitchen while encouraging them to try new foods and learn more about healthy eating habits.
