We had a few special recognitions at our Catholic Schools Week Mass on Monday. Kathy Tran made her first communion, Jacie Chalmers made her Profession of Faith and Randi Acquistapace received the Saint Teresa of Calcutta Award for virtuous behavior for the 2nd quarter.
Thank you to all of our students and their families for participating in the Mardi Gras free dress day benefitting the Free Wheelchair Mission as part of the Archdiocese of New Orleans Catholic Schools Week Outreach Project. St. Peter School raised $667.50, enough to purchase 6 wheelchairs for those less fortunate.

January R.O.C.K. Raffle Winners - Congratulations!

Thank you to all of our students and their families for supporting our 5th Grade S.O.U.L. Day!

Our 5th grade students raised $2,274 for their favorite charities!

Mrs. Blanchard's 1st grade is working hard on their “make a ten to add” math strategy!
As part of the ROCK Raffle last Friday, seventh grade won a "Board Games" session!
Key Cottage celebrated the letter "P" with Pajama & Pizza Day!
Mr. Kraus and Mrs. Williams came to Mrs. Nastasi's math class and did the 100 multiplication facts in 3 minutes with the class. Mr. Kraus and Mrs. Williams, along with a few 4th grade students, all finished in less than 3 minutes and got perfect scores.

Mrs. Gates's 2nd grade students had so much fun with their Mardi Gras Float book reports!
Dressing up is so much fun in Mrs. Boudreaux's Kindergarten class!
Congratulations to 6th grade student, Emery Tantillo, on representing St. Peter Catholic School in the St. Tammany Parish Livestock Show for 4-H. All of her hard work paid off! She had an amazing show and represented St. Peter well. Emery received the following awards: Supreme Champion, Reserve Champion Market Hog, Champion Junior Showman, Grand Champion Commercial, Grand Champion York, Grand Champion Duroc, Reserve Champion Gilt, Reserve Champion Barrow, Reserve Champion Hamp, and 3rd Place Premier Exhibitor.
Congratulations to our undefeated 5th grade Basketball Team! Good luck to them in today's game! Playoffs begin next week!
Our 6th grade Honors ELA class participated in a ZOOM call with a 6th and 7th grade class from St. Monica-St. Michael School in Barry, VT to learn more about Catholic schools around the country as part of our celebration of Catholic Schools Week. Former St. Peter parishioner, Mike Alford, is their principal.
Students enjoyed a prayerful stroll through the luminary walk as part of our Catholic Schools Week celebration. Each luminary is a prayer intention from one of our students.
