This photo was one of the first pictures I ever captured in photography career. This is a picture of a flower with drooping pedal exposing fully its nucleus. This picture also captures the finocchi sequence in nature, make the flower look like a colored pine. I personally as the artist feel this piece is one of my best and most powerful. I hope that the viewer of this piece see the contrast of colors and golden mean in the image.
Violet Flower Silk
This is picture which I believe with all my heart is one the best images in this portfolio. This is a picture of a flower in its prime. This picture was taken during pollination season so the flower is extra bright and powerful. When I the artist look at this piece I realize silky smooth brilliance of nature. I hope audience will feel the same.
This piece was taken at dawn. It take the yellows and oranges of the picture a enhances them. I feel relaxed when I the artist see this image because it transports me to the beach as the sunsets over the ocean.
This was a really hard shot to actually capture. It took my attempts and experimenting. When I finally captured the photo I was in awe and amazement. I felt like I was in another dimension on an alien world. I hope that everyone looking at this picture is transported out of reality.
Railing Rain Glass
This image believe to be a master piece. It almost doesn't look real. This is a picture of sitting water after a rain storm on a railing. This photo take something that sounds boring and uninteresting and make a spectacle. When ever I see this picture I feel like I am on an ice rink ready to fly away and have fun.
The image of a tree trunk, I find very fascinating. I not all tridimensional like the basketball, but is still cool to look at. The most interesting part of the photo is the sunlight shimmering through the tree leave on to the trunk. The light create a cool depth effect. When ever I see this image I feel curiosity in the texture around me.
The triptych presented in this portfolio is the combination of different spots balls to form one baseball. I took picture of three balls, one half of a basketball, the center of a baseball, and tennis. I feel this triptych to me represents my core friends. It show that joining of three different people (my friend and I) can make big personality. To my audience in can represent friendship like me, but in can also represent the different personality's one person might have combining into one.
This image is close up of burring candle. The black and white aspect the image is unique and interesting. The black and white in this picture puts a big emphasis on the fire in the candle. I feel that the fire makes me feel almost alone. Like the fire is a person and the candle is a prison it cant escape.
The Duo Tone I will admit as the person who took the photo I really had no reason for making it duo tone. This is a reflection image of a wine glass. I do think this image is quite boring but the duo tone turns this image around. The duo tone give the image a personality it didn't have before. I hope audience feels the same way.
This picture by far is the most unique piece of them all. You might be asking yourself "There no way this is real" and you would be right. This is called a surreal image and it take aspects of real life and puts them together to create an image that could maybe seem real. This photo embodies my vision of what I wish the night sky would look like. With light pollution polluting our sky's it would come close to looking like this. I hope by looking this piece you image or get inspiration to eventually make the night sky look like this.
One of the biggest project I did this year what take awesome oil and water photos and make a collage. This is a collage of bubbles created with vegetable oil with background light shown through them. It turn out awesome and hope my audience think there cool to. My goal wasn't to create a feeling or emotion but to make some one who sees this mesmerized.
This piece is very similar the the first collage, give off a different experience. Instead of using vegetable oil I used avocado oil. The avocado oil create bubble cluster with distinct and individualized bubbles. My goal for image is just the same as the first one. I want everyone who sees this image to feel fun, full of energy and emotion.
WHAT you created
What you LEARNED
What your GOAL was
How you FEEL about it
What you hope your AUDIENCE gets from it when they see it
