On 24th October, Our school proudly hosted the 6th edition of Galaxia-2024, its Annual Inter-School Competition, attracting over 700 students from 39 schools across Delhi NCR.

The event was honored by the presence of Chief Guests Smt. Meena Kandwal, Director at the Rajya Sabha Secretariat, and Mrs. Namrata Jain, a renowned Kathak dancer. Their inspiring words set a positive tone for the day, which featured 12 engaging competitions, including street plays, mime acts, and ghazal singing. Mount Abu Public School, Rohini, was awarded the title of 'Best School of the Year.'

CYBER SECURITY WORKSHOP
Mr. Prabhat Sinha, ACP Cyber Crime, Delhi Police is being felicitated

On 1st October 2024, our school organized a comprehensive workshop on cyber security for students of classes IX to XII. The workshop aimed at educating students about the potential risks in the digital world and equipping them with essential skills to safeguard their digital identities. The event featured three esteemed guest speakers who brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of cyber security and forensic analysis.

The workshop was graced by Mr. Prabhat Sinha, ACP Cyber Crime, Delhi Police, who shared insights from his 12 years of experience in handling complex cybercrime investigations. Mr. Sachin Kumar, a Forensic Analyst with the Delhi Police, elaborated on the role of forensic science in cyber investigations, while Dr. Sudhir Kumar, a DNA analysis expert, provided a unique perspective on balancing digital and physical well-being through meditation.

The interactive session gave students valuable knowledge about the dangers lurking in cyberspace and practical ways to protect their online presence. The school community expressed deep gratitude to the guest speakers for their enlightening presentations, which left a lasting impact on all attendees.

Our School recently organized a vibrant Book Fair, coupled with an engaging Puppet Show and a captivating Magic Show. The event created a lively atmosphere, offering students a delightful mix of entertainment and learning. The wide array of books available at the fair sparked curiosity and encouraged a deeper love for reading among the students. The puppet and magic shows added excitement, making the experience both educational and fun. The school continues its mission to foster a passion for knowledge and creativity through such enriching activities.

ECO-FRIENDLY DIWALI CELEBRATION

Diwali, the festival of lights, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal at Bal Bhavan Public School. The day began with a special assembly program, where students enacted scenes from the Ramayana and showcased traditional dances and songs, reflecting the diverse cultural heritage associated with Diwali. A nukkad natak was also performed, spreading the message to celebrate a clean, green, and safe Diwali.

Students from Nursery to Class V wore vibrant traditional attire, reflecting India’s rich cultural diversity. Students from Nursery to Class XII engaged in various activities, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere.

The Bal Bhavanites made beautiful Diwali greeting cards for their families and friends, rangoli activity, swastikas making with ice cream sticks, wall hangings and decorated earthen diyas activity, etc.

The entire Bal Bhavan Public School community came together for our E-Waste Collection Drive, showcasing our strong commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. As we illuminated our homes, we also worked to brighten the future of our planet by decluttering and responsibly disposing of electronic waste. Students, families, and staff united to contribute tons of old gadgets, batteries, and unused electronic items. This collective effort not only helped the environment but also set a powerful example for a cleaner, greener tomorrow. Together, we celebrated the festive season by giving back to Mother Earth and making a meaningful impact!

गांधी जयंती

बाल भवन पब्लिक स्कूल के कक्षा पाँचवीं के विद्यार्थियों ने गांधी जयंती मनाते हुए प्रार्थना सभा का आयोजन किया|जिसमें छात्रों ने गांधी जी के सिद्धांतों जैसे सत्य,अहिंसा, समानता,परिश्रम,स्वच्छता की महत्ता को प्रस्तुत किया और सभी को अपने जीवन में उनका अनुसरण करने के लिए प्रेरित किया|छात्रों ने सभी को गांधी जी द्वारा दी गई शिक्षाओं से अवगत करवाते हुए उन्हें अपने जीवन में अपनाने की सीख दी । छात्रों ने सुंदर नाटक मंचन तथा मधुर गीत भी प्रस्तुत किया । कुछ छात्रों ने मंच पर आकर अपने जीवन के अनुभव भी साझा किए कि वे किस प्रकार गांधी जी के दिखाए मार्ग पर चल रहे हैं । इस प्रार्थना सभा के माध्यम से यह संदेश दिया गया कि हम सभी को अपने जीवन में गांधी जी के सिद्धांतों को अपनाना चाहिए |

POEM RECITATION

“Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings.”

Poetry has a unique way of capturing emotions, evoking memories, and inspiring change. Each word holds power, and through recitation, we breathe life into those words.

The Bal Bhavanites of Classes III, IV, and V participated in an inspiring poem recitation event, The Magic of Words. The students had the opportunity to showcase their creativity and express their love for poetry on various themes such as Fit India, Save Earth, Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat, and Moral Values.

With expressive voices, props, and vivid imagination, the students brought their poems to life, showcasing their talent and creativity. Each performance highlighted the beauty of language and the power of words to inspire. This activity not only enhanced their poetic expression but also helped build confidence in public speaking.

It was a truly enchanting celebration that left a lasting impression on all, as students shared diverse perspectives and fostered cross-cultural understanding.

NATIONAL UNITY DAY : EK BHARAT SRESHTHA BHARAT

“In diversity, there is beauty and there is strength.”

This report pertains to the assembly on National Unity Day: Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. It was organized by the students of Class IV, where they highlighted the importance of unity in diversity.

The students paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as National Unity Day. Our student speakers emphasized his significant role in uniting India post-independence, underlining the values of unity, strength, and dedication to the nation.

To bring to life the ideals of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, students presented an informative session on the traditions and culture of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This was followed by a folk song from the Lakshadweep Islands, as Lakshadweep is paired with the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Delhi under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) initiative. The performance reminded us that despite our differences, we are all part of one united nation.

As part of the celebration, a Unity Pledge was taken by all students and staff, reaffirming our commitment to maintaining the unity and integrity of our country. It inspired everyone to work together to make India strong and prosperous.

PUPPET SHOW

“Puppets are the messengers of a story that is meant to be told, not just heard.”

A captivating puppet show was organized for our pre-primary students, aimed at entertaining, educating, and fostering creativity. It helped students develop storytelling and language skills while encouraging imagination and creativity.

The objective of the puppet show was to enhance student engagement and participation by integrating learning with fun.

The main highlights of the puppet show were the colorful puppets and the engaging storyline. The interactive session encouraged students’ participation, and the melodious music and sound effects captured their attention.

All the students displayed enthusiasm and interest throughout the show. The excitement and joy were clearly visible on their faces.

READ TO LEAD

“In every book, a world awaits, With open arms and wondrous gates. Each page we turn, a story unfolds, Of knights, of queens, of tales untold.”

To celebrate the theme, "Books Are Our Best Friends," the students of Classes I and II held a special assembly, with the theme "Read to Lead." Through a delightful array of performances, the students highlighted the vital role that reading plays in enriching our lives.

The young learners brought beloved stories to life, sharing captivating fairy tales, adventurous Arabian Nights stories, thrilling journeys, and wise Jataka tales with the audience. Each performance reminded us of the magical world waiting within the pages of a book and the adventures we can experience through reading.

The little ones from Bal Bhavan School shared an inspiring message: Every book is a journey waiting to unfold. Reading not only enriches our vocabulary and sharpens our speaking skills but also ignites our imagination. Each story introduces us to new words, ideas, and concepts, broadening our horizons and deepening our love for language.

Overall, it was an unforgettable day, and the audience was thrilled to witness the remarkable performances of these young learners. Their enthusiasm and talent brought each story to life, leaving everyone inspired and captivated.
