Mojo and The Royal Restitution

From the mind of titular bandleader Mojo comes an all new funk rock band whose electrifying grooves and captivating presence are an experience unlike anything else. Their unique combination of complex lyricism, funky rhythms and abundance of punk attitude creates an unforgettable feel-good atmosphere, whilst leaving just enough genuine heart and soul to form an intimate connection with their audience. With influences ranging vastly from funk icons like Stevie Wonder to post-punk darlings such as Ladybird and even comedy acts like Tenacious D, the resulting sound is as amorphous and indescribable as every great band should be. The band made their official debut at The Brook, Southampton in June 2023. They have since played for Andover Armed Forces Day 2023, as well as at Suburbia, Southampton, in December and The Railway Inn, Winchester, in January. Next up, they're at both The Hobbit, Southampton, and The Brunswick, Hove, in February.
