Halloween Disco
The Halloween Disco is open to all pupils from Forden School and any younger siblings. All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
Thank you to Tesco for providing two Halloween hampers to ASC for raffle prizes. Please bring cash to buy your raffle tickets.
Disco tickets and refreshments can be paid for by cash or card.
Welshpool Foodbank
Thank you for all your donations. We will continue to collect items for Welshpool Foodbank for one more week.
Lexia
Congratulations to Ffion, Evie C, Aadhila, Rosie, Joslin, Ella and Jake for completing a level on Lexia. Da iawn.
Swimming
Congratulations to all pupils who achieved swimming badges this week.
Dosbarth Collen will be swimming from next Thursday for 6 weeks.
Football and Netball tournaments
Well done to all pupils who played in the football team or netball team and displayed good sportsmanship in all their matches.
Congratulations to the netball team who were overall winners in their tournament.
Visit to Dolforwyn Castle
Pupils in Ysgawen will be visiting Dolforwyn Castle on Tuesday as part of their work on Welsh princes. We will leave school at 9:00am and be back in time for lunch. All pupils must bring a coat and waterproof wellies/boots. They will also need a change of trousers / leggings and socks.
Pantomime
Please ensure payments for the pantomime are cleared on Parent Pay as we need to make a payment for all tickets. Thank you.
Governor Vacancies
We have two vacancies on our governing body for Community Governors. These can be any member of the community and do not need to have a connection to the school. If you know of someone in Forden who has the skills or experience required to contribute to the effective governance and success of the school, and would like this opportunity to help direct the strategic direction of the school, please contact Mrs Fowler.
