A Message from the Headteacher

Happy Christmas Jumper Day to all. I intend to include the link below every week on the newsletter. Online safety is something that we must all keep at the forefront of our minds and the site below has been highly recommended to us from our Safeguarding Consultants. The use of technology for work and of course fun is something that is here to stay and I am sure you will agree that keeping our children as safe as is possible is something that we must all strive to achieve. So please do click and I hope that there are useful contributions to ponder.

Wow - we are now only two weeks away from the end of term! This half term has gone so fast, and there's no wonder! We have had so many events taking place, and many more to come in the run up to Christmas. As always, please keep an eye on ParentPay so that you may join us wherever possible.

Tuesday evening was the annual Christmas Disco. We had a brilliant turn out and the children, as usual, had a fabulous time. As ever, many thanks to all of the staff who were able to help out, coordinate and especially DJ too! The money raised shall as always subsidise visits. Brilliant work all round.

On Thursday some of our very talented children performed in the Christmas Rock Steady concert, for their parents and the rest of school. They really did themselves proud as Christmas Songs were lapped up by all of the audience! Have a listen here........... You'll end up singing along!

Thursday was also Christmas Bingo evening. We had a great turn out and had a brilliant, fun-filled evening. Thanks to everyone who braved the weather and again to our team who helped to organise this event.

Eyes Down Folks!

We had a great day today in Christmas Jumpers. Again, thank you to everyone for your support. The children looked terrific and it has made for a lovely atmosphere in school.

Well done to our Y5 and Y6 children who took part in 2 athletics events. On Thursday they attended an event at Outwood Shafton and then on Friday they attended the 'Winter Olympics' at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield. We shall have videos next week!

After school clubs - next terms new after school clubs have been released. Please check out Parentpay.
