We decided to make a tribute music video for multiple reasons, One Direction is still one of the UKs most famous boy bands today but they were most well know in 2011-2016 until they further broke up in January 2016 following member Zayn Mallik's departure in March 2015. Even after all this time One Direction are still extremely popular today especially with the older generation, Even though they are still very popular amongst many people a lot of the younger generations aren't being introduced to them as they weren't even born when they disbanded, with this music video we wanted to reach out to mostly that younger generation of kids who don't know who they are, but really should.
Our music video is a tribute to the whole band and what they've achieved in both their time in the band but also as solo artists, all of the band following their disbandment slowly eased their way into being soloists and were all very successful, some more successful than others, we also wanted to make this as a tribute to the recent passing of member "Liam Payne", all of the boys and fans were deeply saddened by this and i think it has brought a lot of the fans back together again, so that's why we made this music video, as a tribute to him.
