8th Grader Reflections By santi cavallo

For many Middle School students, high school is just around the corner. We interviewed a few rising ninth graders to find out their thoughts about the future and best memories from the Middle School.

When asked what he was looking forward to next year, Leo Saul stated that he would enjoy having more activities and clubs available. However, he is going to miss the free time he had during E Block, and some of his favorite classes such as History and Science.

Henry Carroll is another student who has enjoyed and will miss History class. He also liked the yearly Homeroom Olympics and says he will also miss his teachers at the MS, but anticipates having more freedom and variety in selective Art courses.

Christian Chow looks forward to meeting new students and being in a new environment. Though he will miss Math class and the field trips (which he says were the best moments of his MS experience), he is optimistic about his future at the Upper School.

Abel Ma’s favorite activity/class at the Middle School was Art. He also enjoyed field day and will miss his teachers, but states that he awaits the food at the Upper School.

With only a couple weeks left before summer, 8th graders are close to beginning their high school journey. We wish them the best of luck, and hope everyone has a great summer!
