Thank you to all those who joined us in Brews today for a cake sale fundraiser to raise money for Angelman UK. Dosbarth Alwen parents and carers have been involved in lots of fundraising recently and we’d like to thank them for funding the recent additions to the learning environment which you can see in the photos below!

Aled class have been practicing being independent this week! From deciding to go fast or slow on a bike, paying for their own item out and about or getting yourself from A to B, they have been doing it for themselves!!
This week in Dosbarth Haul we have been exploring the colour red for Valentine’s Day, we have had lots of fun with mark making and messy play.
Famau had an enjoyable day at Gorse Maen Llwyd Nature Reserve, exploring and discovering wild places. They are working towards their John Muir Award and in training for the Bronze Duke Of Edinburgh Award. A big thanks to the North Wales Wildlife Trust for working with us.
Dosbarth Brenig have been looking at a range of fruit and vegetables ready for their "fruit and veg, pic n' mix" Social Enterprise.
Siabod boys picking up the rubbish from the Ffordd Derwen grounds as part of DofE volunteering unit.
Alwen have started planting their seeds. Carrots and thyme are now planted. We will be taking great care of them and watching them grow.
Tryfan learners practise their skimming and scanning skills, whilst looking for relevant information in job adverts.
