Patterned Suffering
Experiences like repeating thought-loops, emotional reactivity that shuts us down or blows us up, fear in our body for reasons we can't identify prevents agencied participation in our world. [these experiences are often labeled as generalized anxiety, panic disorder, bipolar, borderline personality disorder (BPD), dissociative identity disorder (DID), etc.]
Dependency - Isolation
When we struggle to participate due to our haunted body-mind patterns, our way of being in relationships can pendulate from dependency to isolation. Safety and balance is difficult to locate either internally or externally so our relationship with self and others becomes about survival rather than connection and integration.
Engaging Safety
Deconstruction & Co-Creation
In our collaborative relational space we will learn about the nervous system and how to negotiate safety within it. We will seek information about how the patterns you struggle with formed and how to develop processes to negotiate rather than just suffer them.

Outdated Labels & Incompetent Responses
Institutions touting wellness often operate with outdated models of understanding, functioning in modernistic ideology, when most other countries have moved far beyond modernistic thought to the postmodern world in which we all live. It is also unfortunate that many proclaiming healing do not participate in dialogues holding critical inquiry, which pushes for knowledge to not become stagnant. Institutionalized helpers are scared to confront the systems that hold their paycheck and benefits, and the industrialization of psychologized methods continues to churn while people continue to suffer. Exploring institutional impositions and labels will be a part of the work, as will the ways our bodies have been marginalized in a patriarchal society.

Regulation & Pendulation
Emotions in a haunted body operate ineffectively and are disorganized. For some, emotions may turn on like a hose at full pressure while for others the struggle to access an emotion is immense. We will develop strategies to negotiate emotion regulation that utilize internal resourcing as well as social engagement.
Awareness
A Space Of Being
Sometimes we choose what we pay attention to, while other times our attention is pulled by something external. Learning how to cultivate a more open channel of awareness, attuning ourselves as we direct, brings a new understanding of presence, a new relationship with our body-mind flow.
Agencied Storyings
Sensations & Perspective
Agency helps us understand our choices, make a decision based on our own perspective and permits us to say "No" without feeling guilty. If we listen closely, our bodies respond to sensory data to give us the answers we seek. Agencied action can be achieved as we find our way out of reactive patterns from the past, engage with our present, and learn how to participate in our world.
