REMINDER OF THE ST. PETER SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY FOR STUDENTS

The following policy is based on the Federal Law COPPA which establishes criteria for prohibiting use of Social Media by children. This policy applies to all St. Peter students. No student participating in an extracurricular activity (Sports, POM, Cheer, Dance, Band, Drama, Student Council, etc.) at St. Peter Catholic School shall host an account or page (whether his/her true name or an alias) on any social networking site. This includes, but is not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, etc. Not adhering to this policy will result in dismissal from extracurricular activities. (p. 17, St. Peter Parent -Student Handbook)

Chretien Cochran came to speak to our Campus Ministry class today about the Corporal Work of Mercy: Visiting those in Prison. She shared about remembering the dignity of every person, even those in prison, and how the LORD desires that everyone have the chance for salvation. God’s grace can penetrate anyone’s heart, even when in prison. Conversions happen.
