Weekly reading time turns practice into fun for third and fourth graders
Every Friday, Otselic Valley’s third and fourth graders look forward to a special time together -- Reading Buddies! During these sessions, students pair up to share stories, practice reading aloud, and enjoy the magic of books in good company.
The activity is more than just fun -- it helps students build confidence, fluency, and expression as they take turns reading and listening.
It’s a wonderful reminder that reading is not only about learning words on a page -- it’s also about connecting with others and discovering the joy of storytelling together.
