Zach Piser The Burlington School's 19th Annual Holiday Event

About the artist

Zachary Noah Piser is an Asian-American, Jewish actor based in New York City. He is a Bay Area native and a graduate of Northwestern University, where he double majored in biology and theater.

His career includes a number of notable roles on and off-Broadway, as well as international and regional credits. On Broadway, he has been seen as Brad in KPOP (OBC), Boq in Wicked, and as the title character in Dear Evan Hansen. His role as Evan Hansen was particularly significant, as he was the first Asian-American actor to play the part full-time. He also originated the role of Spencer in the Broadway production of Redwood alongside Idina Menzel, after performing in the world premiere at La Jolla Playhouse.

Off-Broadway, he played Tobias in the Barrow Street Theatre's West End transfer of Sweeney Todd. His other off-Broadway credits include a revival of See What I Wanna See. Regionally, he has appeared in the world premieres of Row and The Heart of Rock & Roll.

Beyond the stage, Piser has also appeared on television, including the PBS series Camp TV, and the Netflix series In Your Dreams. He has performed as a soloist at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the MetLife Stadium, and the Shanghai Grand Theatre.
