House Celebration Day ~ Thursday 9th October

What a fantastic start to the school year we have had! The children have returned full of energy, enthusiasm, and positivity, and it has been a joy to see classrooms buzzing with learning and laughter.
We are especially proud to share that pupils across the school have already earned more than 1500 blue tokens for their excellent behaviour, kindness, and commitment to our school values, on top of all the golden envelopes that have also gone home. It is wonderful to see everyone striving to do their best and supporting each other.
As a celebration of this brilliant start, we are excited to announce that next Thursday will be a special 'House Day' for all pupils in Reception up to Year 6. Each house—Brenig (blue), Alwen (red), and Brennig (green)—will spend some time together discussing plans for the year ahead and perhaps taking part in some fun activities, teamwork challenges, and a few special treats along the way!
To help build house spirit and pride, children are encouraged to come to school dressed in their house colours on Thursday. Whether it is a t-shirt, house coloured socks, or even a hat, we can’t wait to see a sea of blue, red, and green across the school. If your child would rather wear their school uniform, they can of course do so.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We’re looking forward to a fantastic day of celebration and togetherness next week!
