Summer term is off to a flying start and we have been busy, busy, busy! Here is a taste of life at Eresby so far this term.
Staffing
Each part of school has a first point of senior leadership contact so children and staff can build strong relationships and feel supported throughout the school. These will be:

Hello from Mel Capes
I am delighted to be joining Eresby this term and look forward to getting to know the pupils, staff and wider school community over the coming weeks. I have worked in education for 25 years, teaching in a small rural Lincolnshire primary school. During that time, I have spent 24 years as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and have been a Principal since 2017. I am passionate about helping children to thrive and am excited to be working alongside the Eresby team to support the fantastic work already taking place across the school. Outside of school, I have three children, a sausage dog called Leonard and six cats, so life is always busy! In my spare time, I enjoy gardening and growing my own vegetables, and I love spending time outdoors. I am very much looking forward to becoming part of the Eresby community and meeting many of you throughout the term.
Hello from Rachel Briggs
I have been teaching for 22 years and have been a Special Educational Needs Co Ordinator for 14 years. I have worked in various schools across the Trust. I enjoy walks and jigsaws as well as spending time with my family. I am extremely passionate about improving the chances and provision for all students.
We wanted to let you know that Mandy Sylvester will be on planned absence from 18th June. We know many parents contact Mandy directly. If you need any support or would like to speak to someone, please get in touch with the school office via the enquiries email or by giving us a call.
