Social Communication Needs Coffee Morning

Come along to a drop-in social communication needs coffee morning.

Autism Young Person and Adult Group

The Bromley All-age Autism Board want to hear your views, wishes and ideas on the following areas:

  • Increasing awareness and understanding of autism.
  • Education and training.
  • Independence skills and employment.
  • Accessing health services and appointments.

Come along and join other autistic young people and adults who often meet up. There will be two sessions.

Session one in person

Session two online

  • When: Wednesday 26th June 2024

Summer Family Fest

This event is suitable for families and children aged 7 to 14 with special educational needs (SEN), but all ages are welcome to attend.

  • When: Saturday 29th June
  • Where: Bromley Arts Trust, 24 Sundridge Avenue, Bromley, BR1 2PX
  • Time: 2pm to 4pm

Tickets from £6 for members. One adult tickets includes one free child ticket, entry into a raffle and some light refreshments.

Bromley FC LD Cup

A friendly 5-a-side football competition for adults with learning difficulties/disabilities is taking place.

Events in July

Early Years Information Drop-in Session

You are invited to attend the new drop-in session for parents/carers of pre-school children. If you are concerned around your child’s development this is an opportunity to find out what support, there is in Bromley and ask questions. If you have a child with identified needs this is a good opportunity to learn what else is available to help your child.

There will be representatives from Education, Health and Care including:

  • Health Visiting Team
  • Speech and Language
  • Early Years Team
  • Early Years Inclusion Team
  • Children's Centre Team

The session will take place on:

Pulse Disability Sports Club

Pulse Disability Sports Club provides the opportunity for d/Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent club members from aged 10-17 years to participate in an array of weekly inclusive multi sports activities across our clubs in London and the South East. To find out more, visit the Pulse Social website:

Remark Community Parent and Children Group

Remark's Parent and Children group provides workshops, advocacy, social meet ups and exciting trips.

The group is aimed at both deaf parents with hearing children and hearing parents with deaf children. The age range for children is 0-11 years old, primary school age. Siblings of deaf children are warmly invited to join too.

Rhiannon's Cafe

A warm welcome awaits you at Rhiannon's Cafe, a neuro-diverse cafe in Bromley.

Regular inclusive events and activities in a warm and safe space. Meet up with your friends or meet new people.

Rhiannon's Cafe is part of Creative and Neuro-Diverse Innovations (CANDI) Community Interest Company, a non-profit making organisation.

Special SEND soft play sessions at Walnuts Leisure Centre.

SEND soft play sessions are taking place exclusively for MyJunior club members.

  • Where: Walnuts Leisure Centre, Lych Gate Road, Orpington, BR6 0TJ
  • Time: 3.30pm to 5pm for ages 3 to 12 or 5pm to 6pm for ages 13 to 18

Teen Circuits for young people aged 11+ with special educational needs or disabilities

Get active with a fitness professional who will guide you through a session in the Pavilion Leisure Centre's gym.
