BIG HEAD MODE is a psychedelic post-punk outfit clawing its way out of the swamps of Easton, Bristol. A dizzying blend of The Beatles’ melody, Sonic Youth’s noise, and The Fall’s sneer, their sound is an unpredictable trip—kaos pads, screeching feedback, electric toothbrushes, and rants that explode into soaring hooks.

Born in a sweaty box room in 2022, longtime co-conspirators Simon White, Joe Dunlop, Henry Durand, Alex Moreton, and Conna McCormack threw anarcho-punk, psych rock, Britpop, and electronica into a blender to see what stuck. When their Frankenstein experiment needed a real heartbeat, drummer Cormac O’Hayes entered the fold, and BIG HEAD MODE hit the ground running—dropping their debut EP DISAARRAY and tearing through 30+ gigs, from Bristol’s basements to festival stages, including Boomtown.
