Thank you for all your donations. These will be delivered to Welshpool Foodbank over half term.
Christmas Fayre
Thank you to all parents who have helped to organise the Christmas Fayre. We are asking for donations for the bottle stall and raffle. If you are able to help on the bottle stall, please see Mia's mum.
Mrs Daffin has organised a second hand Christmas-themed stall and is looking for donations of useable items - wrapping paper, cards, Christmas jumpers, books, table decorations, etc.
We are also looking for volunteers to run the refreshments at the fayre. Please see Mrs Fowler.

Parent Forum
The next Parent Forum will be held on Monday 13th November, 2:30-3:15pm. Items to discuss will include teaching International Languages (IL), Governors' report to parents and the Christmas Fayre. All parents/carers are welcome.
Parent Pay
Please ensure all payments are completed on Parent Pay. If there are outstanding amounts for school dinners, this debt will be followed up by Powys Catering Service.
Visit to Dolforwyn Castle
Pupils in Ysgawen will be visiting Dolforwyn Castle on Tuesday 7th November as part of their work on Welsh princes. We will leave school at 9:00am and be back in time for lunch. All pupils must bring a coat and waterproof wellies/boots. They will also need a change of trousers / leggings and socks.
Governor Vacancies
We have two vacancies on our governing body for Community Governors. These can be any member of the community and do not need to have a connection to the school. If you know of someone in Forden who has the skills or experience required to contribute to the effective governance and success of the school, and would like this opportunity to help direct the strategic direction of the school, please contact Mrs Fowler.
