November communiqué

Paul declared, “For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.” 1 Cor 2:2

Heb 1: 1-3 declared ”God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high”

The most important person in the Bible is Jesus Christ! Everything flows from Him, and all revelations are ultimately fulfilled in Him. And we must not miss the opportunity to share Christ with someone this Christmas Season

In response to His disciple on the need to be satisfied, Jesus said, in John 4: 34-38. “Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. For in this the saying is true: One sows and another reaps.’ I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.”

Jesus was emphasizing 3 very important points for us to note this Christmas season

1. We find our ultimate satisfaction when we fulfill God’s call upon our lives which is to preach the Gospel. Have you notice that our needs are unending as long as we are living in this broken world surrounded by broken people like we ourselves and others.
2. The field are ripe for harvest. People in the entire are searching for answers in money, power, technology, etc. We have to be bold and confident to tell them Jesus Christ is the answer to all their needs and longings.
3. We should look at the field – the pre believers. Our effort must not be concentrated to meet the needs of Christians. Jesus said, “Follow me and io will make you fishers of man” This year’s Christmas Production is only worth our time, effort and money if we gather the lost to hear the Gospel. Failing to do so, is just, “beautifying our aquarium” instead of fishing for men.
4. This is a season of great opportunity, as we glorify Jesus, lifting Him up with our pageantry and carols, the Holy Spirit will begin to draw all men to Him. This is the season of great harvest, let us go out and bring in the souls

Because of your past experiences, the devil will whisper into your ears and say it’s going to be very difficult. The devil is a liar. Jesus said in Matt 9:37-38, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

The fact is, the harvest remains available; what we truly need is to pray for workers who can gather the sheaves. The Christmas Production team is doing their part. They have been practicing and preparing to put up a good show. Let us also begin this month to pray every day for them and for salvation of the lost. Bath the entire Production Team and Church in intercessory prayer.
