BREAKFAST

Our pick: The Granola Bar

Located at 275 Post Rd E, the Granola Bar provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From their classic granola to their take on a traditional avocado toast, the Granola Bar offers a variety of dishes to appeal to every taste.

Summer Avocado Toast - $15.00 | This limited-edition menu makes perfect summer snack. Garnished with shredded egg and matcha salsa, the Summer Avocado Toast puts a flavorful, refreshing twist on a beloved Granola Bar classic. Photo by Mia Bomback '25.

LUNCH

Our pick: Casa Me

Casa Me is an upscale Italian eatery that opened in Westport in 2022. Located at 7 Sconset Square, it is the perfect place to grab lunch or dinner. Neither of us had ever been before, so we were especially excited to try out this esteemed restaurant.

Burrata - $15.00 | Not only was the presentation of this dish impeccably balanced with color and taste, but the freshness of the tomatoes and the burrata itself gave us a refreshing break from the heat outside. The touch of pesto makes it the perfect summer appetizer! Photos by Mia Bomback '25 and Zara Saliba '26.
Pollo Paillard $18.00 | This chicken dish was grilled to perfection, and came topped with a delightful frisée salad. While the salad was a bit salty, it was a very welcoming dish that we would definitely order again. Photo by Mia Bomback '25.

DINNER

Our pick: Mexicue

Mexicue fuses traditional Mexican cuisine with bold barbecue flavors. Its lively atmosphere and casual ambiance make it our top choice for dinner with friends. You can visit Mexicue at 38 Main Street.

Garden Guac $16 | For us, this was a never-before-seen take on guacamole. We appreciated the array of summer vegetables lining the plate, providing a fun pop of color and a rich taste. The guacamole itself was completely well done, especially when eaten along side Mexicue's house-made tortilla chips. Photos by Zara Saliba '26.
Brisket Tacos $8.75 each | These tacos were incredibly flavorful, with hints of sweetness and spice. They came topped with pickled onions and Mexican barbecue sauce. Photo by Zara Saliba '26.
