Annwyl rieni a gofalwyr / Dear Parents and carers,
Blwyddyn newydd dda i chi a diolch unwiaith eto am eich cymorth a’ch cefnogaeth ac edrychwm ymlaen at dymor newydd. Mawr obeithiaf y bydd y cyswllt yma’n parhau rhyngom fel ysgol. Bydd lalwer o fwrlwm ystod y tymor hwn gydag ymarferion a threfniadau wrth y sir Castell Nedd Port Talbot croesawu'r Eisteddfod yr Urdd ym Margam yn mis Mai a llawer o weithgareddau yn cyfoethogi'r dysgu ac addysgu eich plentyn.
Happy new year to you and thank you once again for your help and support as we look forward to a new term. I sincerely hope that this link will continue between us as a school. There will be lots of excitement during this term as we prepare and arrangements as Neath Port Talbot CBC host the National Urdd Eisteddfod in Margam in May also many activities enriching the teaching and learning of your child.
Absenoldebau a Phresenoldeb / Absences and Attendance
Mae'r ysgol yn dechrau yn brydlon am 8.45yb - mae sawl un yn cyrraedd yr ysgol yn hwyr. Ceisiwch gyrraedd ar amser os gwelwch yn dda. Os yw eich plentyn yn absennol o'r ysgol, cysylltwch â'r ysgol cyn gynted â phosibl - naill ai gadewch neges ar y llinell absenoldeb neu e-bostiwch yr ysgol. Bydd y Swyddog Lles yr ysgol yn parhau i ddanfon llythyron 1 a/neu 2 y tymor hwn gan gynnwys dirwyon os ma teuluoedd yn mynd ar eu gwyliau mwy na dwywaith mewn blwyddyn ysgol. / School starts promptly at 8.45am - several pupils still arrive at school late. Try to arrive on time please. If your child is absent from school, please contact school at the earliest convenience - either leave a message on the absence line, or email the school. The schools Education Welfare Officer will continue to issue letters 1 and/or 2 including fines to families who take more than 1 unauthorised holiday absences.

Darpariaeth Gwersi Cerdd / Music provision lessons
Mae'r ysgol yn buddsoddi miloedd o bunnoedd ar gyfer gwersi offerynnol cerdd i'r plant gan gynnwys gwersi pres, llinynnol, telyn a drwms. Yn dilyn awdit diweddar, mae wedi dod i'r amlwg nad yw pob rhiant yn talu'r cyfraniad o £4 yr wythnos / £40 y tymor neu £120 am y flwyddyn. Os nad ydyn yn derbyn y taliadau yma, gall hwn cael effaith niwediol i barhau'r a'r darpariaeth yn y dyfodol. Gwnewch eich taliadau ar Parentpay yn rheolaidd os gwelwch yn dda. / The school invests thousands of pounds for additional music instrumental lessons for the children including brass, string, harp and drum lessons. Following a recent audit, it has emerged that not all parents pay the weekly contribution of £4 / £40 per term or £120 for the year. If we do not receive these payments, this may have a detrimental effect to the schools continuation of additional music provision in the future. Please make your payments on Parentpay regularly

If your child is unable to attend school due to illness, make sure the school office is notified as soon as possible.
