Goering Center Programming Highlights

Your Legacy, Their Future.

Join the Goering Center team and the LaRosa's Pizza team for a complimentary overview on our Next Generation Institute coming Sept. 12.

The Goering Center is hosting a complimentary Overview for the Next Generation Institute®, to provide an opportunity for current and successive generations to explore this program. Join us to discover if the Next Generation Institute (NGI) can help you and your future generation as you anticipate a generational transfer of ownership.

In this deeply engaging program we show current and successive generations of your family business how to prepare and gradually transition roles and ownership when you're ready.

Now I Get It!

The Goering Center and MACKEY are partnering once more to bring you the next installment of "Financial Fluency for Next Generation Leaders".

Understanding your company's finances is a daunting task. With the help of MACKEY, we are excited to make this task approachable for anyone in your company.

What You'll Learn

You can lead a company without developing financial acumen, but not successfully (or for very long!).

Too often, next generation successors are either completely left out of, or are overwhelmed by, financial conversations.

Now I Get It! empowers emerging leaders to understand their company’s financial data, giving them the confidence to engage in conversation and make better business decisions.

Mackey McNeill, author, educator and CEO of MACKEY, will equip participants to accurately read and interpret their financial statements, so they can ask relevant and useful questions regarding that information.

Next gen leaders will learn to forecast easy or challenging financial times, and will see the connection between company activities, responsibilities, and financial results.

Knowledge. Connection. Community.

We are turning the spot light to Pam Goetting with some exciting Roundtable updates. "Looking for outside perspective, efficiency maximization, or just a trusted group of peers? Look no further than Roundtables." Learn more about this opportunity to join the best peer group program in Cincinnati.

Pamela "Pam" Goetting, Roundtable Program & Volunteer Coordinator, The Goering Center for Family and Private Business

The Goering Center has a few open spots on our exclusive HR Professionals Roundtable. We're currently accepting applications from interested individuals.

You will enjoy a collaborative environment where you can network, enhance your leadership skills and gain fresh perspectives on HR trends and best practices. Don’t miss this opportunity to elevate your expertise and make valuable industry connections!

Wishing that we offered a roundtable with a Northern Kentucky connection? If you are a family or private business located in NKY/Southern Ohio, we'd like to convene a new group to support each other in these challenging times, sharing best practices and actively engaging employees.

John Zurborg, previously CEO of Skilcraft, has been a longtime advocate of the Goering Center through our programs like Principles Course, Leadership Development Institute, Business Board Institute and many more. Now as a business coach, John is excited to serve as moderator for this new roundtable.

Please contact Pam Goetting at pamela.goetting@uc.edu if you are interested in these opportunities.
