Our Estyn Inspection
Estyn came to visit our school to conduct a full inspection this week. I am delighted to share with you that the team were very impressed with your wonderful children and how warm, confident and mutually respectful they are, and how willing they were to share their learning, experiences and pride in our school with them. I cannot tell you how proud I am of them and of our fantastic, dedicated and innovative teachers for their relentless drive to provide the best experiences possible for all of our learners. I would like to thank all parents for completing the online questionnaires and for attending the parent/ inspectors' meeting. Your feedback was greatly appreciated and is always valued to reaffirm what we are doing well and help us to continue to make improvements. Thanks also to our wonderful and very supportive governing body whose commitment and dedication to the school is also very much valued and appreciated and contributes greatly to the success of our school community.
We look forward to receiving the full report and parents' summary report about the inspection on Monday 8th December. Under the new Estyn framework, summative judgements such as Excellent/ Good, are no longer provided. The report will identify the inspection team's findings i.e. the school's strengths and any recommendations for further development.
