Happy Easter/Pasg Hapus - School closes today for the Easter Holidays and we re-open on Tuesday 29th April
Dear Minera Families,
We are fast approaching the Easter holidays; it has been a very busy and successful term. This week in school, we have been focusing on Holy Week, learning more about Palm Sunday and the Easter story.
The start of the summer term is a very short one of four weeks that includes a training day and bank holiday. I have included some key dates for the term in this letter.
Have a lovely Easter holiday!
Regards/Cofion,
Spencer Williams

Thank you to Year 6 for leading our Palm Sunday Service at St Mary's Church on Thursday. It was lovely to share this special service with friends and family.
Bunny Run
Thank you to all of Foundation Phase for taking part in the Sponsored Bunny Run today. A lot of fun was had by all involved.
Sponsorship money is still coming in, so we will update with a grand total when it has all been counted up.
Therapy Dogs
We are very lucky to have weekly visits from Phoebe and Cleo. They come to school to listen to children read. Our children love reading to Phoebe and Cleo.

VE Day Celebrations - Friday 9th May
On Friday 9th May, we will be celebrating 80 years anniversary of VE Day in School. Children will be planning the activities for the day. The only details that I can share at the moment is that children will be able to wear 1940's outfits or red, white or blue and we will be having a special fish and chip lunch. Everything else is top secret so watch this space for further details.
