Baseball

Baseball finished 27-7 on the year and finished Runner-Up at the OHSAA Division 3 State Championship. US earned signature playoff wins over Twinsburg, Padua, CVCA, and Wapakoneta during their postseason march. Serving as team captains were Aaron Moss '25 and Deacon Nelson '26.

"Being apart of the US baseball program will be four years that I’ll never forget. Having coaches that were there to push you as both people and players help grow the program tremendously. Showing up to the field every day with my brothers will be memories I’ll carry with me forever. Although we came up just short, the run to the State Championship game this past year is a testament to the growth of the program over the last five years, and I can’t wait to see the success the program will continue to have." - Aaron Moss '25

Lacrosse

After facing many of the top teams in Northeast Ohio, Lacrosse advanced to the Regional Semifinal and had a signature win in the regular season over Shaker Heights. Seniors Preston Drew, Kam Shiver, and Andrew Voinovich served as team captains.

“My time spent on of the University School Lacrosse Team was without a doubt a highlight of my high school experience. I was fortunate to compete against talented opponents alongside some of my best friends and under an extremely dedicated coaching staff. US Lacrosse has a bright future, and I am excited to see the program thrive in the coming years."

Tennis

Tennis finished State Runner-Up at the Division 1 OTCA Team Tournament and ended the season 14-2. Connor Barragate '25, Vishwum Kapadia '25, and Rohit Talasila '25 served as team captains.

"Over the last four years, US tennis has instilled in me the importance of dedication and hard work. With our depth and commitment, we were able to make it deeper in the State Tournament each year, finishing as D1 OTCA State Runner-Up this year. One point at a time, we’ve kept the ball in the blue, and I’m grateful for the many memories I’ve made with this team." - Vishwum Kapadia '25

Track & Field

Track & Field had an outstanding season, highlighted by the program's first-ever Division 1 District Championship. Several athletes advanced to the Regional and State Championships. The team was led by captains Phil Colvin '25, Hugh Kopittke '25, and Jack O'Neil '25.

“This year, the University School Track & Field program truly experienced the fruits of a successful culture shift. Winning the Division 1 District Title for the first time in school history was the direct result of having a program that was bought-in from top to bottom. I am extremely proud of the way this team maintained its momentum through any and all adversity, and I’m excited to see its continued growth in the coming years!” - Hugh Kopittke '25
