Our School Council have been working really hard with Lisa as part of the Waste Worrier project. It’s a fun programme that helps children learn why reducing, reusing, and recycling really matters and how small changes can make a big difference for our planet. The children have been absolutely fantastic, throwing themselves into every activity with enthusiasm. In the new year, they’re excited to share everything they’ve learned with the rest of the school and start coming up with ideas for how we can all tackle waste together.
They’ve also been busy supporting the Feeding Families Appeal. The School Council have done an amazing job collecting food in school, and our families have been incredibly generous, thank you! We recently dropped everything off at the local centre, where Lauren was so pleased with the donations. She even gave us a little tour, and the children asked some brilliant questions along the way.
