Babson College
The Babson men had a fourth place showing at the 2025 NEWMAC Championship. Notable returners from last year's NEWMAC championships include juniors David Krol, who is coming off of a third place finish in the one-meter dive and Anthony Taslakov, who placed fourth in the 200 yard IM. On the women's side, two school records fell this season as Tuana Turhan broke a four-year-old mark with a time of 2:07.27 in the 200 butterfly, while the quartet of senior Sophia Sznewajs, junior Sylvie Racicot and sophomores Samantha Gilbert and Julia Netishen reset the program standard with a time of 1:37.81 in the 200 free relay. Turhan enters the championship with top-10 times in both the 100 fly and 200 fly, while Gilbert recorded the ninth-best time this season in the 100 IM for the Beavers, who placed seventh with the highest point total in school history at last year’s league meet.
Clark University
The Clark University men will look to junior Sam Bier to make an impact this season. Bier is coming off a win in the 1000 Freestyle in his most recent meet. On the women's side, juniors Libby Davidson and Abby Seguin return after posting historical top marks for Clark. Davidson just picked up a win in the 100 Freestyle in their final regular season meet.
MIT
MIT's men's and women's teams are both making appearances in their respective CSCAA polls as they enter championship weekend. The men's team is currently ranked sixth in the country, and the women's team is ranked fifth. The men's side is led by sophomore Grant Hu, the reigning NEWMAC Men's Rookie of the Year. Hu has the 5th fastest 500 Free time in the nation at 4:26.77. The women's side is led by Sarah Bernard, the reigning NEWMAC Women's Rookie of the Year, whose time of 2:16.78 in the 200 Breaststroke is the seventh fastest in the nation this season. Junior Fiora Beratahani, the reigning NEWMAC Women's Diver of the Year, also returns. The women are coming off an NCAA National Championship in 2025.
Smith College
Smith College had an eighth-place finish at the 2025 NEWMAC Championship, which tied for its best result since 2020. Diver Katherine Welsh returns after two consecutive appearances at NCAA Diving Regionals, and Grace Magee and Jesse Wang will lead Smith after impressive performances this year. Welsh has already qualified for the NCAA Regionals, was four-time NEWMAC Diver of the Week and is undefeated in dual meets this season.
Springfield College
Springfield College returns the 2025 NEWMAC Men's Diver of the Year, Christian Butler, who has won NEWMAC Diver of the Week six times this season. The women return several key contributors from last year's roster, including diver Elizabeth Santos, who placed sixth in the three-meter dive at last year's NEWMAC championship and won two NEWMAC Diver of the Week awards this season.
U.S. Coast Guard Academy
The Bears return their All-American swimmer and NEWMAC multi-champion in Noah Reice, who was also an All-American in the 200 Fly, as well as their 2025 NEWMAC runner-up in the 100 backstroke in Zac McGowen. Former NEWMAC finalists Sam Halvorson and Madelyn Paxton return on the women's side. Halvorson recently set pool records in the 100 and 200 back at Trinity. Diver Phoebe Jane Allred also returns for the Bears.
Wellesley College
Wellesley College will return eight swimmers from last year’s team, including Kavita Sekhon, a former NEWMAC Champion in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, and Alexis Kung, a two-time NEWMAC Swimmer of the Week. Sekhon won NEWMAC Swimmer of the Week once and earned an NCAA "B" cut in the 100 Breaststroke while breaking her own program record in the 50 Breaststroke. Wellesley has won Relay of the Week on four occasions, and the 200 Medley Relay team earned an NCAA "B" cut. Finally, diver Elsa Marsden '26 has earned a regional cut on the 1-Meter board.
Wheaton College
Wheaton College returns several key contributors from last year’s squad, which tied for their highest finish (fifth) at the NEWMAC Championship since 2019. Gavin Cullinan returns after setting a new school record in the 200 free, as well as being a part of the school record 200 free and 400 free relays last year. On the women's end, seniors and former NEWMAC runners-up in Garin Stone (200 free and 500 free) and Talia Dalton (1650 free) look to place.
WPI
Christopher Smith returns for WPI, as he finished sixth in the 100 fly. First-year Lucas Brown will also look to make an impact after earning a NEWMAC Swimmer of the Week honor this season. The Engineers women return 16, including sophomore Sarah Kang, who was an NCAA regional qualifier last season.
