I created a vintage postcard for Alaska. I learned how to put images into text. My goal was to end up creating something vibrant and bright just like how Alaska is. I feel very good about this because just by looking at it, it makes me want to travel there myself. I hope that when my audience sees this, they will feel like they want to go to Alaska themselves.
I created a photo montage to make it look like when you open it you will not think that it is made in photoshop, but think that someone actually took a picture of this in real life. I learned how to use layer masks in this project. My goal was to make a statement to people who don’t do anything in their life. I feel like this project is designed to look like it was taken in real life so, I feel pretty good about it. I hope that when my audience sees this it could be awakening to some people, for them to realize that they are living in the shack in the sky and will get out more.
I created a movie poster based on horror because it was Halloween at the time. I learned how to use tools to create a seamless pattern in my project. My goal was to end up creating a horror movie film for October. I feel as if this looks like a movie that would actually be out. I hope that when my audience sees this, they will just see it as a regular movie poster.
I created a book cover, spine, and back to look like a real, authentic book. I learned how to incorporate textures into images. My goal was to create a good book cover without it looking too repetitive. I feel good about this project because it was the hardest one that I had ever done and required a lot of trial and error, along with the fact that I had to make it look non-repetitive. I hope that when my audience sees this book cover, they will feel like they want to read it for themselves.
