The ministry of Young Life began with the courage and strength of local leaders in 2009. Young Life began in the community of Panamá Viejo; an old, historic community where God gave us the opportunity to love teens who were thirsty for love. Over the years, we have impacted generations of teenagers who live in this community. New, young, and strong leaders have risen up out of the years of investment in Panamá Viejo, and the ministry has expanded to three new communities throughout Panamá City. Last year, 448 kids were impacted by Young Life leaders in Panama City!
