February 1, 2025 . . . .Building on the distinct Kolpin Hotels brand, the new Sanders Residence has been created by the award-winning hotelier, and renown ballet dancer, Alexander Kølpin. Kolpin Hotels, a leading player in the hotel industry, is proud to introduce Sanders Residence as a strategic expansion of their product portfolio, complementing the renowned hotel Sanders. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, Sanders Residence is an exclusive destination catering to the needs of both corporate clients and leisure travelers.
"Sanders Residence represents our commitment to delivering premium experiences and meeting the demands of our discerning clientele. We aim to offer an exclusive stay in Copenhagen, where guests can enjoy private surroundings, professional service, and a unique opportunity to experience the city like a local," says Karim Nielsen, CEO of Kolpin Hotels.
This exclusive accommodation invites you to experience living in Copenhagen at this historic property known as Matrikel no 1. Sitting on an ideal corner overlooking Kings Garden offering uninterrupted park views, the bespoke interior design is reminiscent of hotel Sanders relaxed yet luxurious sensibility and is designed by Alexander Kolpin himself..
This singular sanctuary is comprised of a living room, 3 bedrooms, plus a kitchen and dining room for a total of 220m2. The living room faces the park allowing sunlight to flood the room. The soundproofed residence ensures a restful night’s sleep. Added amenities include a Resident Host to tend to every need, exclusive linens, television and air conditioning throughout.
A key focal point of the residence is a dining room or meeting room where, depending on your needs, family can gather, or private business meetings can be held. The tranquil surroundings foster greater outcomes and inspiring results. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals and alternatively, upon request, dedicated staff can arrange breakfast, lunch or dinner, as well as a private chef. The kitchen also offers its own separate entrance for staff to enter and prepare meals discreetly.
Included in the booking is a private transfer for two in a Mercedes S-Class from Copenhagen Airport (for two persons). Conveniently located, guests can easily immerse themselves in the city by walking or biking to the most captivating attractions. Six bicycles are included in the booking for guests to tour around the city at their leisure.
Karim Nielsen adds, "Copenhagen has long lacked a housing option in the luxury segment in the heart of the city. Sanders Residence fills this gap by offering an outstanding combination of comfort, elegance, and personalized service."
About Kolpin Hotels
The foundation of Kolpin Hotels is based on a passion for arts, architecture, design and the delivery of an exceptional personal experience for guests – creating a strong lifestyle brand. The intention is to offer a type of quiet luxury, in a place with a strong sense of history and locale. This same sensibility was applied to Sanders Hotel, the first luxury boutique hotel in Copenhagen and the new Sanders Residence. To date, this has also been successfully achieved at one of Denmark's most stylish beach and bathing hotels – Helenekilde Badehotel, overlooking the Kattegat. In 2025, Kolpin Hotels expands its vision with the launch of Roberta’s Society in Aarhus — a new high-end, yet accessible hybrid hotel concept that blends curated style with social energy, bringing the Kolpin ethos to a new generation of travelers. Going forward, the intention is to establish authentic and unique boutique hotels in Denmark and international, which respects a high level of aesthetics and service, while at the same time creating a community that unites locals and travelers through art, culture and design.
