Tokyo Japan Cherry Blossom Post Card

I created a post car that is from Tokyo Japan using a multitude of tools. The Postcard taught the basics of Photoshop from filters down to the basics of how to use the paint tool. My goal was to make people want to visit Japan for its beauty and to see it for themselves. I am very proud of this one because seeing it's my first it wasn’t my worst it has great details and shows very beautiful places, I made the postcard Tokyo Japan because I have a cousin that lived there and family friends, but also, I find Japan to be a beautiful place with a rich culture and beautiful nature spots. I hope my audience gets the feeling of beauty from these different places even if it isn’t Japan, but to see that everywhere is beautiful.

Dangers of Dumb Driving

I created a photo collage that shows a man driving while drinking and driving like he is invincible. This project taught me how to use layer masks which is something I used a lot in future projects. My goal for this project was to show people that bad driving is very dangerous and can put more than just that one person making a bad decision in danger, as why I have the women in the passenger seat and the car crashed behind them. This is the one I feel I did the worst on, it didn’t look complete and looked very choppy. I hope my audience gets that driving dangerously is not funny and can be a hazard.

Not Alone Horror Movie

I created a movie poster that was from a horror movie I made up. This project taught me how to separate things into certain color schemes. My goal for this was to make a little movie poster that made people want to see a horror movie and get a little scared. This one is probably the second worst from the Dangers of Dumb Driving as I feel it did look better but still felt empty in a lot of spaces. What I wanted my audience to take from this is to have some fun and do things as long as it’s not dangerous.

Wings of Fire: The Lost Heir

I created a book cover that is from a book I have read the one I chose was one of the Wings of Fire books because I loved reading them as a kid. This project taught me more about smart objects and using bevel and emboss to create a more 3d image, it also taught me about using a singular media to make a project in which I chose construction paper. My goal for this project was to have people wanting to read more. This one is my favorite. I think it is the best I have done from all the projects, something about creating the book cover was so fun remembering the fun of the book that I had read. I want my audience to get from this the inspiration to read and think of the world and have an amazing imagination.
