Coach Jang So-yeon, a former middle blocker legend, was on the women's national volleyball team for most of the time, playing from 1993 to 2016. In Korea, he started working on a business team in 1992 and continued his professional career until 2016. Pepper Savings Bank has appointed Lee Yong-hee as its new head coach to lead the team along with Jang. Lee Yong-hee, a former setter, has more than 10 years of coaching experience in Korean women's professional teams. Starting as a Korea Expressway Corporation coach in 2012, Lee served as a head coach at GS Caltex for seven years from 2017.
