GENERAL SUBJECT
LIFE AND BUILDING AS PORTRAYED IN THE SONG OF SONGS
🏷 OVERALL BURDEN
We look to the Lord, by His grace, to carry out the following as our overall burden for Lord’s Day Truth Fellowship:
- To stir up the appetite and atmosphere of pursuing the ministry, especially the "classic" ministry books that are foundational to our taking the way of the church life intrinsically.
- To produce an experiential impression of the truth in the saints and impact them to seek the Lord to apply the truth in their daily living.
- To release and apply the present burden of the ministry in the Lord's recovery as much as possible in order for all to give heed to the Spirit's speaking to the churches.
- To carry out the above burdens in a spirit and atmosphere of prayer, outside the realm of religious routine and perfunctory functioning.
For developing a habit of reading the word and to strengthen our pursuit of the Lord, we encourage all the saints to read two chapters of the book of Song of Songs every week.
