This week in Year 4 we have been learning about collaboration and how we can work together and support each other. We started by thinking about what collaboration means and the different ways we can show it in class.
To put this into practice, we created three-part monsters! Each person drew either a head, body, or legs, but the sections were hidden until the big reveal. The results were very funny and showed how working together can create something unique and imaginative.
We then had a look at how to create a Google survey all about how much we exercise. We had a go at planning our survey in pairs and then created it together on Google Forms.
Afterwards, we sent our surveys out to the class and used the findings to evaluate our responses, through using our knowledge on how to analyse statistics.
In English, we have been focusing on fronted adverbials. We explored how they can give extra information about how, when, or where something happens at the start of a sentence. Everyone had a go at creating their own, and we came up with some brilliant examples!
In PE the children have been focusing on travelling and moving our body in different ways to hop far!
Well done Year 4 for a fantastic week!
