Get to know Wr.Wilson

While math is a subject that is hard to grasp , Mr. Wilson's Approach is a little bit different and helped me make sense of a complex subject. While Mr. Wilson is a relatively new teacher here at Atascadero High school. Having been with us for just a year, he has quickly become a favorite among students for his engaging approach to teaching geometry and AP Statistic.
"I Like how he is really helpful and how he's nice to everyone and overall makes everyone feel comfortable in class" - Jocelyn Muneton

Celebrating Greyhound Spirit: A Tribute to Atascadero Football

As a relatively new teacher, Mr. Wilson's classroom is still a bit bare, with only a few items adorning the walls. I wanted to contribute by creating a poster that reflects his interests and energizes the space. Despite being a math teacher, he has a genuine passion for sports, particularly football. To celebrate this and showcase the Greyhound spirit, I designed a poster honoring Atascadero High School's football history, highlighting the CIF Southern Championships in 1982, 1983, 1986, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, and the most recent victory in 2022. Although it's now the traditional greyhound colors of Halloween orange and monsoon grey, I decided to go with Burnt Orange and Bright Gray to make the greyhound stand out better.

I appreciate how he teaches math. In geometry last year, he made the difficult things easy to understand. In the past it has been difficult for me to understand some of the complex concepts but he broke it down in a simple way allowing me to understand the concepts a lot better. - Diego Lembo
