RETURNERS

Addisan Langston (1B; Sr.) - Langston appeared in 43 games with 42 starts last season, recording 33 hits and 19 RBIs and a .284/.336/.319 slash line. She added a career-high three hits against Nova Southeastern on February 16th.

Brandilyn Reymer (RHP; Jr.) - Reymer pitched in 19 games with 10 starts in the circle, posting a 3.54 ERA, with 40 strikeouts last season. She pitched three complete games and threw a combined no-hitter in game two against Post (Conn.) on March 9 with Reese Founds, with five strikeouts through two innings.

Kinsley Castro (C/3B; Jr.) - She appeared in 33 games with 19 starts during her sophomore year. She recorded a career-high of 11 hits on the season with four RBIs and two runs.

Ella Coiner (INF; Jr.) - Coiner had another standout campaign in 2024 earning All-SSC First Team honors, while starting in all 45 games. She totaled 43 hits, 22 RBIs, and nine extra bases. She led the squad in stolen bases with 21, recorded two homeruns. She recorded a career-high six RBIs against Lynn on February 24th.

RETURNERS (cont.)

Mia Hernandez (OF; So.) - Hernandez appeared in 42 games with 38 starts during her freshman year. She posted a .250 batting average with a .324 on base percentage, adding 23 hits with 10 runs and four RBIs in her rookie campaign.

Hannah Taylor (C; So.) - Taylor had a standout rookie season starting all 45 games. She recorded 43 hits, 18 RBIs, 12 runs, 8 extra base hits, and four homeruns in her rookie season. She also went 4-for-6 in the Tritons’ opening series against Carson-Newman on February 2, recording her first career hit and RBI.

Abby Lucas (OF; So.) - She appeared in 25 games with 23 starts last season. She posted a .230 batting average with four hits and five RBIs while scoring five runs in her rookie campaign. She went 2-for-4 with two RBIs against Montevallo on February 3 for her first career hit and RBI.

Jenna Bulcher (INF; So.) - Bulcher appeared in 15 games with two starts and tallied two hits and one run last season.

Reese Founds (RHP; So.) - Founds pitched 18 games with 12 starts in the circle in her freshman year. She held a 3.66 ERA, posting 29 strikeouts while earning four wins. She combined with Brandilyn Redeemer to pitch a no-hitter against Post on March 9th, recording three strikeouts through three innings.

Gracie Ciccarello (INF; So.) - Ciccarello started in 38 games during her freshman year. In her rookie season, she slashed recorded 13 hits, 11 runs, three RBIs, and two extra base hits on the season. She also recorded her first career hit in the Tritons’ season opener against Carson Newman on February 2.

NEWCOMERS

Lex Difato (OF; So.) - Transfers into Eckerd after playing one season at University of South Carolina Upstate. She appeared in 22 games with 14 starts, with a .333 batting average, posting eight hits, nine runs, and three RBIs.

Ashley Cain (MI; So.) - Spent last season at the University of Charleston, appearing in four games, with three hits, two runs, and two RBIs.

Molly Scott (UTL; Fr.) - Prepped at Crown Point High School in Indiana, where she was named Academic All-State.

Ellie Baldwin (UTL; Fr.) - Prepped at the Conrad Schools of Science in Delaware, where she was named first team all-conference and second team all-state. She won both the Most Improved and Coaches Awards.

Julia Heter (INF/RHP; Fr.) - Attended Bartow High School in Florida, where she won the State Championship in 2023. Shed was named first team all-county in 2023 and 2024. She also played soccer at Bartow and was the 2024 top scorer.

Saige Sampson (RHP/1B; Fr.) - Prepped at Steinbrenner High School in Florida, where she was awarded the MVP in her senior year.

Ava Planeta (C/UTL; Fr.) - Attended Calvary Christian High School in Tapa, Florida, where she was a two-time 3A FHSAA softball state champion in 2022 and 2023, and named to the all-state team in 2023.

Joelle Wike (C/UTL; Fr.) - Prepped at Liverpool High School in New York, with a .280 career batting average with 14 doubles and 48 RBBIs.

Maddie Bostack (UTL; Fr.) - Attended East Lake High School in Florida, where she was awarded the Coaches Award freshman and senior year, and named to the PCAC second team her senior year.

Michelle Frew '91

Michelle Frew '91 returned to her alma mater in June as the Tritons head softball coach spending 28 years as a head coach at the Division II level, with 1,002 career wins. Before she returned to Eckerd, Frew spent three seasons as the head coach at the University of Charleston, where she led the team to two NCAA Tournament appearances, including the Women's College World Series this year following a program-record 51-8 record. She was tabbed the MEC Coach of the Year in 2024, and her staff was named the NFCA Atlantic Region Staff of the Year as well. She won the Mountain East Conference regular season and conference championship in 2023 and 2024 with Charleston. She also led the squad to the NCAA Super Region in 2023. In her time at Charleston, she coached eight All-Americans, 18 all-regions players, and 20 all-conference selections, including a three-time player of the year.

Frew spent 25 years as the head coach at Rollins, from 1995-2021. With the Tars, she led the program to 11 NCAA Tournament appearances and five Sunshine State Conference Championships while coaching 12 All-Americans, 122 All-SSC Selections, and five SSC Players of the Year. She is also a four-time SSC Coach of the Year (1998, 2010, 2011, 2021).

Adisan Langston- First base (Sr.)

Eckerd opens the season at home with a doubleheader abasing East Stroudsburg on February 5 at 1:00 PM, as part of a seven-game opening week. Eckerd opens up SSC play by hosting Embry-Riddle for a three-game series on February 14-15. Eckerd concludes the regular season at Saint Leo on May 2-3.

Eckerd was selected 9th in the SSC preseason poll. With many new faces joining the team this year to add to the returning roster, the Tritons look to shake up the conference.
