Macau as a sign that gambling houses are also beginning to recover from the crisis.

Analyst Tuna Amobi reported that Macau contributed nearly $45.3 billion to its peak total gaming revenue (GGR). But the previously booming casino industry began to fade away as Macau officials introduced very strict measures. But what really affected Macau's gaming industry was a serious anti-corruption crackdown that triggered the departure of VIP punters.

After things cool down, VIP players appear to be gradually returning to China's gambling mecca. As proof of that, the Macao Game Inspection Coordination Bureau released a financial report, which can accurately estimate the situation. Revenue from gaming activities was reported to have risen to 17.2% in the first half of this year. It's worth mentioning that this growth was far ahead of any previous forecasts made by economists. Earlier this year, experts expected Macau's gross domestic product (GDP) to jump to up to 5.2% in 2017 and up to 5.3% in 2018 due to the revival of the game industry.

Three major casinos in Macau, including Las Vegas Sands, MGM Resorts and Wynn Resorts, have reportedly seen significant comebacks. Las Vegas Sands reported that the company's Macau operations formed 60% of consolidated revenue and an adjusted asset EBITDA (used to analyze the business for valuation and potential acquisition purposes).

A similar report was released by MGM Resorts during the same period, showing that the company's operations in Macau provide 18% of the company's consolidated revenue and 16% of its adjusted wealth EBITDA. The third major U.S. casino, Wynn Resorts, reported that its presence in Macau brings 69% of consolidated revenue and 62% of adjusted wealth EBITDA. The latter company also noted that it has witnessed significant growth in its market share in Macau, now estimated at 16%.바카라사이트

Macau is the only place in China where gambling is legal, so it's no surprise that the gaming industry continues to thrive. Chinese people who want to play games are only available in Macau. It is not yet clear how long it will take for the Macau casino industry to be fully "reactivated" in the face of many restrictions, but forecasts suggest that Macau's casino industry has a bright future.
