Exploration through Vectors Divyansh Kulkarni

Self Portrait

This is a self-portrait, of obviously myself. I took a reference image of myself and created vector shapes to put together and make my face. This allowed me to see how I look at the world, but more than that, it allowed me to express how I see myself. But it also made me very self-aware while. It was almost like talking to a strange person.

Sugar. Sugar. Sugar…

Everyone loves a bowl of cereal in the morning; it is one of the most convenient meals. This project is a Parody of a cereal box. It was made to show people why they should not eat cereal. While researching for this project, I also found that cereals contain a lot of sugar and the ingredients are grown with weed killer. I designed this project on a computer, printed it out, and put it together to put it in a display case at my school.

Flowery Arch

This is a take on the style of an artist by the name of Natasha Coverdale. This piece is an illustration of a garden, reimagined through the lens of Indian culture. The flowers are depictions of Indian flowers, trying to capture their beauty. In the back, there is an arch, seen very commonly in Indian Temple Architecture, which is inspired by shapes found in nature.
