Course Description
This foundation course is designed to help educators develop core skills in digital creative practice — our immersive workshop incorporates a mix of hands-on learning and expert guidance designed to inspire and engage. Explore the realm of digital creativity in education through the lens of digital storytelling.
Back in October we completed Day 1. We discussed design concepts for teachers, You created some simple websites, developed a digital collage and added some motion, crafted some easy graphics, started some awesome real time animation and generally got to grips with Adobe Express.
But most importantly we all flexed our creative thinking and skills.
So what's day 2 all about?
Day 2 is all about taking our skills and knowledge to the next level. Digging deeper into developing your digital literacy and your confidence to create projects for use in the classroom.
We'll dive deeper into video production and create a video project perfect for use in classrooms.
We'll further explore integrating artificial intelligence into your teaching workflow.
And of course we will focus on unleashing your students' potential by integrating digital creativity into any subject at any grade level. Employing valuable design thinking strategies to problem solve using a range of digital tools and workflows. Finally we'll elevate your teaching approach and promote digital literacy with hands-on tips and strategies for a more dynamic learning experience.
Gain 20 hours of certified professional development (12 hours in-person workshop + 8 hours of independent study)
And best of all you will be able to claim one CEU (Continuing Education Unit) from Woodbury University on completion of the workshop. There is a $50 fee payable to Woodbury University. Details will be emailed to course participants.
Two intermediate level courses will be published soon and graduates of all three Digital Creativity courses will be able to gain 5 x CEUs in total.
