ARC Animalis Dogs looking for their forever homes

Welcome

Welcome to our webpage to show you our dogs who are looking for their forever homes

Arc Animalis

A Non-profit organisation, ARC is a small group of volunteers helping strays and homeless pets from the streets of North-Macedonia.

Our Animals

Clare & Chloe, 2 puppies in our shelter.

Please look through those waiting for their forever family. If you find the one 'who speaks to you', please get in contact via the application form in his/her post.

Adoption process

Tell us a bit about you, why you are looking to adopt, your home, your commitments and we will get in touch for a home check and to discuss whether the pet is a good match for your home and family.

Please do message after :⬇️

✔ Having had a chat with all the members in your family about potentially adopting a pet.

✔ Realise that rescues may adapt to his/her new life easily ... but they may not and may struggle to adjust. Adopters need to be prepared to give their rescues the time they need (which may be weeks) and help them along the way to build trust.

✔ Pets have needs that go beyond providing food and a warm bed. They do suffer when left alone for long periods of time.

✔ Understand that dogs do need exercise, some more than others and if their needs are not met, they will redirect their boredom to things normally humans get frustrated with (like chewing or disruptive behaviour around the house - It is not their fault, it is their natural response to lack of stimulation and exercise).

✔ Consider the financial costs of having a pet - from medical care to food, training and pet products, the costs of having a pet can sum up.

✔ Consider the needs of all your other resident pets who may also need time to adjust to the changes of the new pet joining the house.

✔ Children! It is a parent responsibility to educate their child(ren) to respect animals. They are on this planet with us, and not for us - explaining to a child how to behave around (any) pet is imperative to avoid unfortunate situations.

WE DO carry out home checks.

Clare & Chloe: females

Meet our gorgeous sisters Clare and Chloe.

Very desperate case, they were born on the streets together with their two brothers who were adopted because here people think that having a male dog is easier (they don't give a birth) and that's how this two beautiful sisters stayed with their mum.

Their mum is around 18kg (medium size) we think they will be the same size as their mum.

Can someone offer home for these gorgeous girls? They can be adopted separately.
