ITA assistant coach of the year

Vinicius Oliveira has done a excellent job of transitioning from Our Lady of the Lake to Graduate Assistant for the MSU-Texas Men's Tennis Program. He has coached this team to #18 in the Nation currently (and as high as #14). The team is currently 14-9 (6-8 vs. Nationally Ranked Opponents) and went 7-1 as the Co-Lone Star Conference Champions this season. Vinicius has been in charge of so many items for this program on and off the court (Team GPA is currently 3.58 and they have done 268 hours of community service this year).

Other responsibilities and accomplishments of Oliveira's include conducting pre-match warm-ups, over 100 hours of on court private lessons, supervising and participating in team practices 100% of the time, scheduling lunch meals and dinners on the road trips, supervising team study table twice a week for the entire year, personally did 18 hours of community service, primary on-court coach coaching on match days, pre-match and pre-practice set-up and helped with match day coaching for the Women's Team as well.
