The Client

Emil’s Jewelry Design has been a trusted name in custom jewelry and expert repair services for over 25 years. Family-owned and operated, the business is led by Bill Emil, whose passion for craftsmanship shines through in every piece he creates. From unique designs to detailed engravings and appraisals, Emil’s is known for making jewelry deeply personal. Bill approached KBL in April of 2024 looking to elevate the store’s social media presence, drive more foot traffic and sales. With a legacy built on care and creativity, Emil’s was ready to shine even brighter online.

The Starting Point

Before teaming up with KBL, Emil’s was managing social media in-house, squeezing in posts between the daily hustle of running a busy storefront. With staff juggling sales, repairs, and customer service, their Facebook and Instagram accounts saw sporadic updates. Content mostly featured product photos, with minimal use of video or people-focused visuals. While the passion for their work was clear, the social presence lacked the consistency and strategy needed to truly shine. At the time, trending videos didn’t seem like something that mattered and were not being explored or utilized. The KBL Approach

Our work with Emil’s began like it does with every new client: by getting to know them. Through our New Client Survey, we dug into who they are, what makes their business tick, and what they hoped to achieve. Their goals were clear—increase brand awareness, drive foot traffic, and boost sales. From there, we built a 90-Day Content Roadmap featuring five strategic campaigns to introduce their team, highlight their craftsmanship, and showcase their stunning jewelry. We launched a consistent posting schedule—5 Facebook posts, 5 Instagram posts (including 3 videos), and 3 TikToks weekly—prioritizing video, trending content, and team-focused storytelling to humanize the brand and engage new audiences.

The Glow Up

Once KBL stepped in, Emil’s social presence got a serious upgrade. We moved away from only static product shots and brought in a fresh, consistent visual style using realistic iPhone photography. By featuring Emil’s own staff in everyday, relatable settings, we created content that felt personal and authentic—helping followers connect with the people behind the brand.

We also leaned into video, introducing Reels, Stories, and TikToks that not only showcased the jewelry but also highlighted the team, process, and personality of the business. With trending audio, fresh footage, and a strategy centered around engagement—not just sales—Emil’s socials started to sparkle like their pieces.
