Ysgol Tir Morfa - Newsletter Friday 18th JULY 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we reach the end of a busy and rewarding school year, I’d like to thank everyone who has contributed to make this year a success. To our wonderful pupils who continue to make us proud every day. To our dedicated staff who work so hard to provide the best opportunities to inspire and support our learners. To our Governors for their guidance and support behind the scenes and to you as parents and carers for your partnership and trust.

We said a fond farewell to fourteen of our pupils this week. Thank you to all those parents and carers who joined us for the Leavers’ Service on Tuesday. The pupils had a wonderful time at the Leavers’ Prom in the evening - we wish them all well as they move on to the next stage of their journey.

Wishing you all a restful, safe and sunny summer holiday.

Kind regards,

Susan H. Roberts

Headteacher

Our Week at Tir Morfa
We had an amazing prom night this week for our class of 2025 leavers! They enjoyed a bubbles reception at school, were then picked by a limo and partied at the Beaches Hotel in Prestatyn! The 14-19 departments across school enjoyed music from our favourite musician Gav and danced their socks off!!!
Siabod enjoying a refreshing walk to the beach.
Famau have been learning about refugees and why they may need to flee from their home countries. Using role play, watching short films and reading about case studies, the students have been developing compassion for those who live under oppressive regimes.
Lots of fun was had by Tryfan leavers and their friends at the Prom.
Today we have been celebrating the last day in Haul for some of our pupils moving on next year. We are all so proud of your progress during your time in Haul, good luck next year in your new classes! ☀️
A final picture from Dosbarth Findeg. Many pupils moving on to a new class next year. A great year! Diolch yn fawr!
