WHO IS LYSSN UP?
Alyssa Walter "LYSSN UP" is a Chicago-born DJ and producer based in San Francisco, California.
LYSSN UP grew up playing electric & bass guitar as a metalhead, which is why she loves a heavy-hitting kick & bassline. She's always been influenced by 80s synth and new wave, so it was a natural transition when she started producing and DJing a few years ago.
Some of her biggest inspirations now include a mix of techno artists including Boris Brejcha, Space 92, METODI, Mha Iri, and Jay Lumen.
Her recent release "Elevate" on Replicate Black captures her signature blend of powerful synths, rolling basslines, and epic breakbeats, with support from prominent artists in the industry including YellowHeads. Over the last year, she's been on lineups supporting big names in techno including Space 92, Teenage Mutants, Victor Ruiz, Mha Iri, Sam Wolfe, Layton Giordani, and Alex Stein.
Her dedication to production quality and ability to captivate a crowd with her bouncing energy will land her in an underground club near you soon.
