Lute Women's Lacrosse vs. Willamette 2025 Pacific Lutheran University Digital Game Program

Setting the Scene: The Lutes continue their four-game homestand today, welcoming Oregon rival Willamette University to East Field.

About the Lutes: Pacific Lutheran (1-6) begins conference play looking to snap a six-game skid. The Lutes finished off their non-league slate last Wednesday, hanging with visiting Pacific University for the opening two quarters before eventually falling 13-7.

Taylee Alldredge scored the game's opening goal and finished the day with four goals and one assist, extending her scoring streak to seven consecutive games. PLU owned a 6-4 edge midway through the second quarter but the Boxers scored the next five goals, a run that spanned both halves.

Kassie Diller had one of her best games in goal, making a season-high 19 saves and finishing with a 59.3 save percentage.

Eight Lutes have scored a goal this season with Taylee Alldredge leading the way with 18 goals and 20 total points. Annie Latimer leads the team in assists with six and is second on the team in points (seven) while Issabella Marchio has six goals and Katrina Moran has five.

Alldredge has a team-best 29 ground balls in the first seven games and 12 caused turnovers.

Kassie Diller has played every minute in goal this season with 89 saves this season with a 44.3 save percentage.

About the Bearcats: Willamette (4-4, 1-0 NWC) opened NWC play on Tuesday night, besting in-state rival Lewis & Clark College 16-8.

The visiting Pioneers scored first but the Bearcats tallied the next five goals and never trailed the rest of the way. Lily Bachiochi had five goals and six assists on the day while Shea Richardson-Pepper and Claire Kisielnicki both had four goals.

Kisielnicki leads the Bearcats in scoring with 31 goals on the year and 36 total points while Bachiochi is the leader in both assists (21) and points (38). Richardson-Pepper (14), Alex Warfel (12), and Sydney Davis (11) round out the five players with over 10 goals through the opening eight games of 2025.

Olivia Austin has started all eight games in goal, making 60 saves with a 12.12 goals against average and a save percentage of .426.

Fast Starts: PLU has scored the opening goal in five of the seven games this season with Taylee Alldredge responsible for four of those five goals.

East Field Magic: PLU's East Field has been a tough place for opposing team's to play at during the 2024-2025 academic year. The Lute women's lacrosse squad along with the Northwest Conference Champion men's and women's soccer teams have combined for a 15-4-7 record on the turf this academic year.

A Season of Firsts: Women's lacrosse became the first new varsity sport for the University since 1996 when the team played its first game back on Feb. 16. That game saw a lot of milestones. First goal was provided by Taylee Alldredge, the first assist was claimed by Annie Latimer. Meanwhile, later that week Kassie Diller became the program's first NWC Athlete of the Week.
