Young Life Camp - Summer Staff Experience
Trip dates: July 11 - 31, 2026
$4,900 per person + airfare
Serve at camps across Zimbabwe alongside local staff and leaders. Learn about Young Life ministry in different country and serve kids! A group of 10-15 individuals, ideally college students or recent college graduates will learn and serve together, growing together in faith and work. You will have the opportunity to fundraise and explore the country of Zimbabwe!
What will we do?
- Get to know the long and fruitful ministry in Zimbabwe alongside staff and leaders from all over the country.
- Have a unique discipleship experience as we serve at several camps around Zimbabwe.
- Encounter God in new and fresh ways.
- Visit various ministry outreaches around the country.
- Have a special debrief adventure.
Tentative Itinerary Day 1: Arrive in Harare and be warmly welcomed by local Young Life staff and leaders. Transfer to your hotel, enjoy a group dinner, and settle in after travel. Days 2–3: Orientation, cultural immersion, and volunteer training as you prepare to serve alongside local staff. Time for team building, prayer, and learning about Young Life ministry in Zimbabwe. Days 4–7: Camp Assignment #1 - serve at camp alongside local leaders, building relationships with students and supporting program activities. Day 8: Group debrief and reflection, sharing stories and processing experiences from the first camp assignment. Days 9–12: Travel to Bulawayo with stops along the way to experience local communities and ministry contexts. Continue building relationships and learning from local staff. Day 13: Group debrief and rest day to reflect, recharge, and prepare for the next assignment. Days 14–16: Camp Assignment #2 - continue serving at camp, deepening connections with students and local leaders. Day 17: Group debrief and celebration of the work done throughout camp ministry. Days 18–20: Travel to Victoria Falls for a safari experience and time to explore the area, celebrating the journey and all that God has done during the trip. Day 21: Return to Harare and depart for home.
