Kindergarten Art: Exploring Museums

Kindergarten students have been learning about museums and how they help people understand history, culture, and art. As part of the unit, students discussed what museums are, what they display, and why objects from the past are important.

To connect ideas with hands-on practice, students created art inspired by museum collections. Activities included simple “cave paintings,” decorated Egyptian-style masks, and clay pots shaped from playdough. Each project helped students explore how people from different times and places told stories through art.
